Supervision is a relationship. Finding the right fit matters just as much as finding the right therapist.

Supervision is about you as the therapist.

Many people believe that supervision is supervision and it does not matter if you fit with the supervisor or not. However, just like therapy, you have to find a supervisor that you connect with and share the same or similar values.

  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW) — 50 hours counts towards licensure
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) — 100 hours counts towards licensure
Idaho
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) — Can provide 50% of hours towards licensure
