Natalie Herranen, Student Counselor

Hi! I am a graduate student at Eastern Washington University, pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently an intern, receiving supervision from Dr. Andrea Charles. I graduated from Washington State University in 2019 with my bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in Human Development. Prior to pursuing counseling, I worked in advocacy and case management roles for 4 years.

 My specific clinical interests lie in supporting survivors of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), sexual assault, and other forms of interpersonal trauma. I am also passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community and welcome all queer folks.

 Outside of counseling, I enjoy singing, reading, caring for my pet fishes, soaking up the sunlight, and spending time with friends.
